NEVAH @ 4Points BBQ in Winterport - Sat June 13th

Hey fans and friends …

I am delighted to let you know that NEVAH … oh yeah … I said NEVAH is performing this coming Saturday - June 13th - at the Legendary  4Points BBQ & Blues House - 

The show featuring Phil Pitula on Bass, Ed Russell on Flute, Sax and Percussive thingys, Richard Silver on Mandolin, Lawrence LeBlanc on Guitar and Banjo, Eric Brown on Congas and Snare, Jack Anderson on Pedal Steel and Guitar, Mark Shane on the Audio Console and me (Hal) on Banjo and Guitar … and everyone on Vocals (even caught Mark humming a few tunes during practice) … starts rockin' at 6pm and ends at 9pm (it's the law).

… so come on by for some smokin' BBQ, great beer, and some hot musical entertainment

NEVAH's friends Maximum Blue Launch "Grounded" CD

Hey friends and fans of NEVAH,

… the other day, NEVAH's good friends from the group "Maximum Blue" (Max & Jeff Silverstein and Nancy Merrill) hosted their "grounded" CD release party. I (Hal the NEVAH banjo guy) had a chance to MC the event and was asked to join them on-stage for a quick "Foggy Mountain Breakdown".

It's the first time I've ever jammed with Max, who is an amazing fiddle player, and I must admit flat picks a guitar better than I do as well. And he's only 16 …

Plus several of the groups friends were asked to join them on-stage, including Max's amazing fiddle instructor/teacher/coach …Laura Rioux - a well known - very much in-demand performer as well.

A terrific turn out at the Next Generation Theatre in Brewer and a fun time was had by all …

… and it looks like they are planning another CD launch in Southern Maine - (see below) - so Max's "other" fans can catch them too.

Hey … friends and fans of NEVAH. I hope the guys in band don't mind but I just wanted to let you know that this Sunday, October 6th, I will be appearing at the 4 Points BBQ in Winterport … doin' a solo-ish-like guitar/banjo/singin' thing …

… from 5:30pm to 8:30pm

So, if you are around and would like some amazing food, hang out with some really cool folks (I understand several of the NEVAH guys will be attending) … and listen to and sing along with a few "familiar-esque" tunes. I'd love to see ya.
