On September 25th, 2011 the
Winterport Volunteer Fire and Rescue Association Ambulance Service had a "Family Barbeuce" and
Nevah was asked to be on hand to entertain. The boys in the band instantly accepted, even though they knew the night before they'd have an early morning departure from the Discovery Channel's Pelletier Loggers Family Restaurant gig in Millinocket Maine.

Nevah, the night before the Winterport gig! |
What a treat, the sun was out, the company was delightful, there was a lovely canopy under which we set our equipment and we had no trouble getting power to our sound system.
What more could you ask for? Did I hear you say, "Food?" I almost forgot to mention the food. It was perfect and plentiful, especially the strawberry shortcake for dessert.
I must say a good time was had by all as the band played for about 90 minutes, pulling out all the stops, entertaining the crowd with our favorite tunes.
Did I mention they served strawberry shortcake?
Anyway, it was a perfect Nevah afternoon.
