Nevah a Bangor Maine Bluegrass Band

The closest "big Town" town of the Nevah Band, a very unique bluegrass band, is the "Queen City" Bangor Maine.  The City of Bangor, in the heart of Maine, is truly the best of both worlds: a friendly city         filled with excitement, opportunity and activity, and a gateway to the natural beauty of this great state.

Bluegrass music has been a part of Bangor for many years and one of the Nevah Band members was instrumental in organizing and hosting the Paul Bunyan Bluegrass Festival that was held for five years in a row at the Paul Bunyan campground in Bangor Maine. The Logo for the Festival was the very famous statue in downtown Bangor Maine, that of Paul Bunyan. Maine is the Vacation State, even says so on our license plates and Bangor is the heart of that fun. From Bangor you have direct and easy access to Maines north woods, many State fairs (too many to count) and a host of lakes ponds, streams and other adventures.
